ARACH - DRIDER

LARGE HUMANOID

The first arachnids of Avorkarth and sisters of the ikkani, the arachs were partly humanoid from their creation, keeping to the grace of the elder species. When the ikkani began their cults of worship to the eldritch gods, the arachs departed northwards and allied themsleves to the fae to destroy the Ikkani. Yet, their vanity kept them from being equal allies and to this day the spider-queens always rule their own fates.

ARACH CULTURE

Arachs are mostly solitary creatures, hunting and harvesting a local population to whom they are either a false deity, empress, queen or local superstition. Their architecture, while grand, is mostly located in damp and dark caverns where they are attended by their servants. The intellect of an arach is near without equal and they use this gift mostly for only their own gain. Much as their spun webs ensnare their food, arachs will plan for longevity, their queendoms an eventual, but definitive end goal.

ARACH RELIGION

Arachs worship very little beyond themselves and have had little use of gods and goddesses ever since their ikkani brethren fell to the persuasive lies of the eldritch void creatures. However, there are still a few arachs of softer heart that remain from the elder days, and some of them have found solace in the fey’s deities of nature.

Arachs, being female only in nature, have no dimorphisms.
