AELVENKIN - SILDAEN
MEDIUM HUMANOID
The eldest remaining civilization of the fourth age, the aelvenkin, or elves as
named by humanity, had discovered sun based arcanic manipulation and harnessed
its secrets to create their rule. This age ended after thousands of years of
opulence when they failed to stop their own insane lust for power and the
unfortunate mastery of blood magic. The revolt of the lower class along with the
greatest invasion of the southern dark orcs tribes of the age split their species
thin and led to the destruction of most of their ancient civilization.
Much like the Sanguinnar, Sildaen are tall, fair and seemingly immortal beings empowered
by the glowing blue crystals melded within their chest. Shortly before the fall of the Aelvenkin
empire, a few of the noble class aelvenkin followed the greatest mind of their age,
the prophet Eloran, to the furthest eastern city of their empire. There they've stayed
for millenia since, disregarding the personal desires of their Sanguinnar cousins,
however similarly hoarding the powers of their old empire away from the other races.
SILDAEN CULTURE
The very few Sildaen live among one of the last ancient aelvenkin cities, thanking their
prophet that had guided them long ago away from the Sanguinnar houses that brought their
fall. This last city, Sildaerar, the glittering eye, is a beautiful mixture of crystals,
silvers, gold and white marble. The Aelvenkin live as they once had at the height of the
second age, with philosophy, art, music and such representations of the beauty of creation
as the height of culture. While Sildaen may still seem arrogant to lesser races, this is a
facade to mask the fearful truth. With the loss of the crystalline secrets, the
aelvenkin way of life has already begun to fade.
SILDAEN RELIGION
The religious beliefs of the Sildaen are very much like those of the Narei, though
are still more inclined to follow the prophecy of the Eternal King's return. As such,
the mixture of both Arenya's angelic statues alongside those of the greatest Aelvenkin
are beautifully intertwined. A Sildaen will often pray to Arenya to aid in the return
of the Eternal King, thinking them to be linked in the grand scheme of things.

SILDAEN DIMORPHISMS
The male and female of the aelvenkin species are similar to humanity in their
differences, although to a greater extent. Males are of stronger build by nature,
while the female is much more slender and graceful. Beyond this, they are very
much alike in their mind and abilities.
